October 02, 2003Tragic Ecosystem FlawThe Truth Laid Bear's traffic ecosystem seems to be completely screwed up. Apparently the Priorities & Frivolities site gets the exact same amount of traffic, day after day, as Instapundit. Me thinks that's not at all possible. I swear I didn't pay NZ Bear to put me up there! Maybe he was being extra generous because I won his New Weblog Showcase. Kinda funny, though: my blog's still pretty new, my total visits are just about at 40,000, yet the Ecosys tells me I'm getting 77,000 hits a day -- even though my counter's not public! Oh, well, I guess I'll take it.... Posted by: Priorities & Frivolities at October 3, 2003 07:38 AMI'm sure it's a problem with his script. But damn if you'll pay me I'll put up some kind of Showcase. I take small bills preferably not ordered. Posted by: filchyboy at October 3, 2003 09:04 AMOK, the bad data is fixed. But I'm still not getting P&F;'s actual statistics, as it doesn't seem like the SiteMeter counter is truly public --- I can't actually get to the detailed statistics page, which is what the scripts need to grab the stats. -NZB Posted by: N.Z.
