how this works | March 18, 2003The French, Russia, Germany, & War CrimesConsidering that these countries have done everything possible for several years to stop Saddam Hussein from being tried by the international war crimes courts I have to wonder why it is that Bush even went to the security council in the first place, or rather, how come he did not make this very clear. It seems as if he could have forced the international war crime court issue and gotten lots of play or even an entrance to a widely supported war if he had done so.
