I'm glad to make note that progress continues apace on the redevelopment of the site:
- I have added a feed at the right to the CondomBlogs site which I also maintain.
- I have also worked out a way to develop a live feed of new products at Condomania so now I know when new stuff pops up rather than having to negotiate the site. Next up on this will be developing this feed for my affiliate account with them.
- I have integrated a recent comments feed as well. Of course as the site went into disrepair for so long the comments are not current but in a few weeks they should start being far more current.
- I have integrated a remaindered links section to the right as well. For a long time I tried to use Typepad's TypeList functionality for my bookmarking/publishing needs but gave up on that long ago. It really is not at all useful. Quite a while ago I began using del.icio.us for bookmarking purposes and I can't stress enough how nice and completely useful it is. I have had del.icio.us bookmarks replace my normal bookmark behaviour on my Firefox browser and I am in linkage heaven me thinks.
- And finally I am hunting down and starting to import my vast selection of previous posts into this new site.
Okay so what is this Art Condoms feed I have set up on the column to the right? Well Condomania has ventured further and further into the custom condom territory. One of the areas which has proven to be extremely fun is placing the artwork of artists that we love on condoms. Condomania started the Art Condoms site to document the process as new artists' works are introduced to the line. So far Winston Smith, Coop (my favorite - love demons with nice tits!), Peter Bagge, Trevor Brown (another favorite of mine), Robert Williams, Ron English, Peter Kuper, Johnny Ryan, and the Church of the SubGenius have contributed.
One of my buddies is always sending me emails detailing his visions of creating metallic condoms, condoms with wings, etc. So here's hoping this project will amuse him greatly!

Welcome back to the new Safer Sex Page! A couple of years ago the site was hijacked and shortly after I regained control of it there was a massive hard drive failure which resulted in the entire site disappearing for a long long time. My archives at the time were in a state of disrepair and with everything else going on in my life it just didn't seem possible to put the time back into recovering the sites archives, rebuilding, etc. But that was then.
Today I have a brand new spanking server from which to work. I have much fewer difficulties with getting this site back up off the ground and although I don't have much time I do have the intention to rebuild. In the upcoming days and weeks I hope to reveal more stuff I've been working on but for today at least I have gotten the latest version of Movable Type operational.
