Lift the Ban Petition is attempting to change the US military stance against folks of g/l/b/t orientation. Perhaps if you have a spare moment and feel it's a stupid rule, like I do, you'll drop everything and fill out the petition. In this time of war it seems to only make sense the armed forces would be populated by the most competent folks. Surely that can't be done if the pool of potential recruits is smaller than it need be because of some stupid phobia about queers.
