Wow C., that was powerful. Now I've got to go to the bathroom and try to fix my tear-filled eyes. This is why I am an angry leftie. What a spectacular waste of human life and love that bush the lesser has perpetrated.
Posted by Tom P. at November 13, 2003 12:55 PMYes it is a tremendous loss,of a person with a big heart and love for life. Jesse beleived in what he was doing and why he was doing it. He would have much rather been home with his family. Like he said when he saw the demonstrations on T.V. before he left, the people need to relize how many lives have been given since World War I, Korea, WW II and Viet Nam also in the gulf war so that they have the right to demonstrate. It's called Freedom.Don't blame Bush for fighting for what he believes in. He said after 9-11 he was out to stop terrorist. We do live in the "United" States. In an election year a lot of politicians forget what United means. Jesse died fighting like all the other still over there fighting to help keep our country free and to help free the people in Iraq.
It would be great if everyone that reads Jesse's letter would say a prayer for all over in Iraq and pray that we are able to establish peace over there, and give them freedom like we have.
Jesse would love that. Then none of these boys would have died for nothing.
